FULL STACK WORDPRESS ENGINEER WITH WOOCOMMERCE Remote Argentina December 5, 2025 SvitlaSystems Inc. is looking for a Middle Full Stack WordPress EngineerwithWooCommerce for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Argentina. Our client is a publishers’ partner that improves media revenue models with industry knowledge and AI technology. You’ll support a news media client. This role focuses on hands‑on development, improving and maintaining the platform, managing integrations, creating reliable environments, and ensuring the site supports subscription and access needs smoothly. You will work closely with internal teams and the client, understand business requirements, document systems clearly, and own full end‑to‑end testing for all changes. Requirements: 4+ years of professional experience in IT. Strong experience with WordPress and WooCommerce. Understanding of managing WP Engine, including multi‑environment setups and deployment pipelines. Familiarity with Cloudflare, AWS, and S3. Knowledge of HubSpot and its integrations with e‑commerce or subscription systems. Experience working with pro versions of WP plugins such as Multicollab, PublishPress, SchedulePress, and successfully managing these in a production environment. Solid understanding of APIs and system integrations. Expertise in documenting development work clearly and consistently. Experience performing complete end‑to‑end testing in a production‑style environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to understand business impact. Nice to have: Experience working with news or media technology organizations. Familiarity with subscription‑based or membership‑based e‑commerce systems. Familiarity with site license access (IP‑based, domain‑based access) for end consumers. Responsibilities: Lead development for a WordPress WooCommerce platform used by a news media organization. Build new features, refine existing workflows, and contribute to front‑end and back‑end development. Create and maintain sandbox, staging, and production environments. Manage WordPress Engine, including deployments, caching, performance configurations, and environment workflows. Manage and enhance custom WordPress and WooCommerce plugins. Maintain integrations with Cambey, West, and other vendor APIs. Oversee data flow across subscription, billing, e‑commerce, and CRM systems. Perform end‑to‑end testing for every release, update, and change to ensure reader access and functionality remain stable. Think through business implications before performing updates. Produce clear and detailed documentation for development work, workflows, integrations, and system configurations. Participate in morning scrums and join client calls as needed. Communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
