Technical Lead - ERP Hydrocarbon Value Chain Job Description Responsibilities Configure and support SAP SD modules including pricing, billing, and shipping and the Hydrocarbon Value chain implementation including Traders scheduler workbench (TSW) solution. Maintain and optimize material master data for accuracy and consistency. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Finance, Logistics) to ensure end‑to‑end process integration and effective support to operations. Identify and implement improvements for SAP SD and material master operations. Participate in full lifecycle SAP projects, including implementation, upgrades, go‑live, and post‑support. Assist in the end‑to‑end process design, build, test, and integration for Hydrocarbon Value chain solutions. Provide delivery support and assist in resolving open SAP solution architecture related risks and issues by leveraging experience. Responsible for functional specifications, data conversion, and integration specifications related to Hydrocarbon Value chain value stream. Provide thought leadership, best practice, and subject matter expertise within Hydrocarbon Value Chain teams. Set the technical vision for the HCVC team. Lead the design and architecture of complex solutions ensuring scalability, robust security, and cost‑effectiveness. Hire, attract, and retain talent for the delivery organization. Communicate and reinforce the desired work culture, including a focus on personal and process safety; recognize accomplishments and team member contributions. Build team alignment, ensuring the team has a clear understanding of the business global priorities; enable others to work effectively and collaboratively a multi‑discipline, multi‑function, multi‑cultural, and matrix environment. Support the business and IT managers in managing the overall performance of the organization, aligning teams with the rest of the organization, and escalating any team concerns. Ensure prioritization and capacity allocation are done to deliver on the business strategy/objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders and delivery partners, including peers at other locations, to execute the organization‑prioritized and strategic objectives. Provide technical support and mentoring to junior staff. Promote best practice and common standards and technology usage the team. Manage performance and development of technical team members. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a comparable field. 7+ years experience implementing Order‑to‑Cash solutions in SAP; preferably with S4/HANA implementation experience. 5+ years of experience in SAP SD (configuration, customization, support). Expertise in managing material master data within SAP. Familiarity with SAP MM fundamentals. Proficient development skills using ABAP objects, HANA SQL programming, and SAP Business Technology Platform tools. Proven track record in the SAP OTC environment, working on a project team. Previous experience supporting integration between SAP modules/functions. Creative and critical thinking, problem‑solving, business case development and achievement. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; ability to engage and work in a global team across multiple time zones. Strong communication skills; ability to be well‑organized, clear, and concise in conversations and written communications. Flexible to work across global time zones with onshore and offshore internal and partner teams. Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and provide solution architecture guidance. Experience hiring and managing team supervisors. Self‑driven; able to work with minimal supervision. Ability to prioritize tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment. Team player with effective interpersonal skills and a collaborative style. Relocation Options: Relocation might be considered.
