Application Support Engineer Join Episode Six, a global provider of API‑based payment processing and wallet management infrastructure, as an Application Support Engineer based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Responsibilities Serve as a technical bridge between internal E6 technical teams and external clients, ensuring optimal use of E6 technology and services. Participate in two distinct phases: Implementation (collaborate with client teams to translate solution designs into concrete builds) and post‑implementation support (incident support and configuration change planning). Act as a subject‑matter expert and mentor for teammates and clients, providing formal training or informal guidance. Drive proactive problem solving and client success, focusing on service improvements and reusable content creation. Requirements 5+ years of supporting mission‑critical Java applications in the financial services industry. 3+ years of client‑facing experience. Strong SQL and NoSQL query skills, and experience querying RESTful APIs with Postman or equivalent. Ability to participate in an on‑call rotation and prioritize, triage, and resolve support issues. Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with other IT teams. Experience with deployment and end‑to‑end ownership of product delivery. Identifying opportunities to improve process efficiency and automation. Desirable Familiarity with PCI DSS. Experience with Mastercard/Visa card processing networks. Preferred Knowledge & Skills Excellent personal management and organisational skills. Analytical mindset and technical ability. Ambitious, self‑starting, and detail oriented. Professional, credible and able to challenge and present solutions. Build positive relationships with colleagues and clients and maintain excellent customer service.
