Sr. Engagement Manager , Professional Services Amazon Web Services Argentina S.R.L. - F61 8+ years experience leading and delivering enterprise-level IT engagements. 8+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience, with proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior business and technology leaders (up to and including CxO). Customer facing experience, interfacing with executive stakeholders, and leading delivery for large transformation programs. Bachelor's Degree, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish, in technical and business settings (verbal and written). The role focuses on engaging a wide variety of projects to help customers and partners remove constraints and accelerate their journey to AWS. The Senior Engagement Manager leads internal AWS, external partner, and customer teams to deliver AWS cloud products and services that enable customers to realize their business outcomes. The candidate will use customer‑facing skills and technical acumen to understand requirements and enable digital transformation projects, collaborating across stakeholder groups to support requirements gathering, scope definition, and proactive best‑practice implementation. Typical engagements include: Cloud Strategy and Business Case Development Cloud Suitability and Migration Assessments Cloud Architecture Design and Implementation On‑Premise to Cloud Migrations Cloud Organizational Alignment Responsibilities and Abilities Delivery Collaborate with AWS field sales, pre‑sales, training, and support teams to understand customers’ needs and business success metrics. Plan, organize, and manage all phases of the project lifecycle, including governance plans, schedules, team goals, milestones, budgets, and success criteria. Manage engagement goals, lead teams to achieve customer outcomes, and address issues, risks, decisions, dependencies, and action items. Work with stakeholders and sales teams to amend contractual scope, financials, and timelines. Maintain ownership, manage pressure, stay within budget, and meet deadlines. Hold internal and external teams accountable, redirect as needed, and manage customer expectations throughout engagements. Work effectively in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities, taking proactive steps to ensure teams meet or exceed expectations. Operate independently or as part of a global team, prioritizing work and staying organized to meet commitments. Ensure AWS and partner teams achieve or exceed customer business objectives. Solutions Lead individuals or teams, analyzing project goals and guiding AWS members, customer stakeholders, SMEs, and third parties toward those goals while navigating client limitations. Seek process efficiencies and effectiveness improvements. Make decisions guided by policies, procedures, and business plans with limited guidance. Support and influence the sales lifecycle by engaging clients in defining next phases of cloud projects. Participate in practice development by contributing practical solutions, methodologies, and knowledge‑sharing artifacts. Communication Demonstrate outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills with audiences of all levels. Build relationships with various customer and internal stakeholders, including C‑level executives and project SMEs. Plan and oversee the preparation and distribution of project communications. Understand operating styles, team dynamics, and cultures to adapt behavior and succeed. Foster an inclusive and diverse work environment.
