OVERVIEW We are looking for translators with experience in translating patents from English into Spanish (native-level fluency of Spanish) with immediate availability for our patent translation projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in translating and proofreading patents, specifically in the field of Electricity, Computer Science and Mechanics. Project Details: Job Title: English into Spanish(LatAm) Patent Translator Start Date: ASAP Location: Remote Content Type: Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electricity, Mechanics Expected Weighted Volume Per Week: words CAT Tool: XTM Employment Type: Freelance Main Duties Translate patent‑related content from English into Spanish, with original meaning conveyed in a manner that is readable and understandable to the target audience. Follow instructions, for example translation process, CAT tool usage, etc. Communicate effectively and respond promptly in English. Requirements Minimum two years' experience translating and reviewing content in the patent fields; Native fluency in target language; Degree in linguistics, translation or equivalent experience. Able to translate, copy edit, and MTPE, QC and LQA.
