Company Description I. Job Overview The Director of Asset Management is responsible for the full lifecycle management of the company's existing and new assets. Through systematic asset operation, performance monitoring, capital structure optimization, and exit management, the goal is to maximize asset value, control risk, and optimize capital returns. This position typically reports directly to the CFO/Chief Investment Officer/President/Investment Committee, and is a core role connecting strategy, investment, operations, and capital markets. Core Responsibilities Portfolio and Strategic Management Formulate and implement the company's overall asset management strategy, annual asset operation plan, and medium‑to‑long‑term value enhancement path. Manage various assets (equity assets, real estate, equipment assets, infrastructure, financial assets, etc.). Propose asset allocation, adjustment, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring recommendations based on the company's strategy and capital planning. Report portfolio performance, risk exposure, and value changes to management and the board of directors regularly. Asset Operation and Value Enhancement Lead the operation and management and performance improvement of assets to enhance EBITDA, cash flow, and return on capital. Collaborate with investee companies/asset operation teams to drive: Cost structure optimization Revenue growth and business model upgrades Management improvement and governance enhancement Design and implement value creation plans, clearly defining quantifiable targets and implementation paths. Supervise major operational transformations, technology upgrades, asset revitalization, and synergistic integration projects. Financial Management and Performance Monitoring Establish and improve an asset‑level financial analysis and monitoring system, including: IRR, ROIC, cash return rate, Adjusted EBITDA and other metrics Budgeting, rolling forecasts, and deviation analysis Reviewing asset valuation models, impairment tests, capital expenditures (CAPEX), and financing structures Assessing the capital efficiency and financial sustainability of assets and proposing optimization suggestions Risk Management and Compliance Governance Identifying, assessing, and managing operational, financial, legal, market, and compliance risks related to assets. Establishing asset risk early warning mechanisms and emergency response plans. Ensuring asset operations comply with corporate governance requirements, regulatory rules, and internal control systems. Collaborating with legal, audit, and compliance teams to handle major risk matters and disputes. Post-Investment Management and Exit Strategy Participating in or leading the following aspects of the assets: Equity structure optimization Dividend and cash recovery arrangements Refinancing and capital restructuring Developing and implementing asset exit strategies (IPO, M&A sales, asset securitization, buybacks, etc.) Coordinating with external advisors (investment banks, auditing, valuation firms) to drive the exit process. Team Building and Cross-Departmental Collaboration Build and manage the asset management team, clearly defining responsibilities and performance goals. Develop the team's professional capabilities in financial analysis, asset operation, and post-investment management. Maintain efficient collaboration with investment, finance, strategy, operations, and legal departments. >Participate in discussions on major company decisions, providing professional judgment and advice to management. Qualifications Education and Professional Background Bachelor's degree or above in finance, accounting, economics, engineering management, business administration, or related fields. Preference will be given to candidates with professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA, CMA, ACCA, or FRM. Work Experience Over 20 years of relevant experience, with one or more of the following backgrounds: Private Equity / Family Office / Industrial Investment Institutions Large Group Asset Management or Corporate Development Department Real Estate, Infrastructure, Energy, Manufacturing, and other asset‑heavy industries Practical experience in post‑investment management, asset operation, or asset restructuring Preference will be given to candidates with successful asset enhancement or exit cases. Core Competency Requirements Excellent financial modeling, valuation analysis, and business judgment skills Deep understanding of asset lifecycle management and value creation logic Strong strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and execution abilities Excellent communication and coordination skills, capable of effective interaction with senior management and external organizations Good professional ethics and risk awareness Role Description This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Director of Asset Management, located in Buenos Aires. The Director of Asset Management will oversee and optimize the performance of the company’s portfolio of investments and assets. Responsibilities include analyzing financial and market data, managing assets, developing strategies to enhance value, overseeing property management activities, and ensuring portfolio performance aligns with company goals. The director will lead a team and collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve business objectives effectively. Qualifications Strong Analytical Skills and ability to interpret and utilize data for decision‑making Expertise in Investments and Finance, with a solid understanding of market tools and financial instruments Proven experience in Property Management and Asset Management, including managing and improving portfolio performance Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to develop and implement innovative strategies to maximize return on investments Relevant certifications such as CFA or equivalent are a plus Bachelor’s degree (required) or Master’s degree (preferred) in Finance, Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field Fluency in Spanish and English is required Seniority level Director Employment type Full‑time Job function Finance and Sales #J-18808-Ljbffr
