We don’t expect you to have a background in everything we use, but we do expect you to bring strong technical acumen, exceptional communication, and a track record of leading high‑performing product engineering teams. What you will do Support and develop a small team of engineers through regular feedback, mentoring, and coaching. Collaborate with design, product, and founders to scope, prioritize, and deliver projects. Facilitate planning and execution across projects while helping engineers stay unblocked and focused. Ensure code quality and system reliability through reviews, architecture input, and operational excellence. Advocate for and contribute to a strong engineering culture centered on ownership, curiosity, and collaboration. Help define and evolve our engineering practices, hiring standards, and team processes as we grow. Tech Stack React frontend with Styled Components, utilizing hooks for composability. Proprietary data synchronization library built for speed and offline support; delta‑packets are transported using WebSockets. MobX for binding the data model to the UI. ProseMirror‑based content editor. Public GraphQL API providing access to all of the user's data. Node, Postgres, and Redis in the backend. Hosted on Google Cloud with Kubernetes.
