Schedule Full-time Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm EST About the Role This role is the first and most critical step in the medical records retrieval process. Youll ensure all requests are accurate, complete, and properly set up from the start. The quality of your work directly impacts the speed and accuracy of records retrieval for legal clients. Requirements Prior experience requesting medical records from providers on behalf of healthcare organizations Exceptional attention to detail—small mistakes can delay requests for months Strong technical skills, including Adobe Acrobat and PDF editing/combining tools Clear communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset Key Responsibilities Provider Research & Identification Identify all providers involved in a clients treatment, beyond the primary facility listed Locate billing providers and related entities using record-retrieval tools, prior requests, and direct provider outreach Add all identified providers into the internal request system Request Creation & Quality Control Review and correct incoming Release of Information (ROI) forms, which are often incomplete or incorrect Create accurate base forms and complete submission packets Perform detailed QA checks to ensure all required documents (cover letters, affidavits, etc.) are correct Request Assignment Assign requests to records team members based on workload and availability Edge Case Handling Identify special provider requirements (such as provider-specific forms) and escalate as needed Resolve missing or conflicting information by coordinating with legal case managers
