Assure accurate implementation of price changes and maintenance of a price realization database. Develop competitive intelligence and conduct pricing studies and analysis to proactively improve marketing and sales results. Work with the MSOL LAM business team to resolve driven pricing strategies to gain market participation and achieve revenue goals. Analyze data from multiple sources, develop complex pricing models and strategies, and collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop sales and go-to-market strategies. Develop studies, analyses, and market investigations with a focus on acquiring strategic inputs for the MSOL decision-making on issues related to competitive intelligence, pricing and needs to increase our business competitiveness. Responsibilities Review and prepare pricing databases, reports on a monthly basis for price realization and/or price changes. Investigate, collect, and plan competitive intelligence. Develop product marketing intelligence strategies. Conduct research and data analysis for strategic planning and business strategies. Map market trends and consumer/target industries’ behaviors. Provide pricing intelligence and continuous improvement roadmap. Develop and analyze qualitative and quantitative research to provide strategic inputs to related areas. Prepare and provide reports to management team in a timely manner. Work cross-functionally across product line owners, sales, industry marketing, technology, and other Emerson businesses to prioritize work for the strongest business opportunities. Assist sales and marketing teams in the price positioning of new products or services. Qualifications Education : College graduate with a degree in Engineering, Business or Marketing and more than 4 years validated experience in Business Intelligence methodologies, price strategies or related field. MBA (Desired). Experience : Knowledge of Business Intelligence methodologies – competitive and pricing oriented. Ability to plan and implement projects with analytical thinking. Experience with B2B markets. Knowledge of the Industrial Instrumentation and/or Industrial Automation market is a big plus. Confirmed ability with market intelligence and pricing in B2B markets. Power BI, Advanced Excel and Power Point proficiency skills required. Strong communication, analytical, negotiation and goal-focused skills. Proficient in English and Spanish. Proficient in Portuguese (Desired).
