Only an hour away is Branson, which includes many shows to see, Silver Dollar City and shopping About the department To make the patients' initial contact with Citizens Memorial Hospital a pleasant, stress-free experience and to gather the appropriate patient information to maintain an accurate medical record A typical day will include Registers account for CMH ambulance reports accurately and efficiently. Creates a friendly atmosphere for those seeking services in the Emergency Room Completes registration of all Pre-ER accounts accurately and timely based on notification of medical screening being performed in accordance with EMTALA guidelines. Ensures the correct insurance mnemonic is listed, and billing address given. Job Requirements Education: High School diploma or equivalent Experience: Customer service experience a minimum of 1 year Skills: Preferred Knowledge of medical terminology Licensure/Certification: N/A Physical: ability to work at a computer 90% of the day and stand for the remaining 10% The position is PRN rotating; hours may vary.
