About This Role
As the Patient Advocacy Lead at Biogen LAS (Argentina, Chile and Uruguay), you will play a vital role in building and maintaining robust partnerships with patient advocacy organizations, ensuring alignment with our company objectives while advocating for patient needs. You will focus on strategic markets within our Business Units to influence an external environment that supports patient advocacy groups. This role demands strong business acumen, leadership, strategic agility, and exceptional advocacy and communication skills. You will have the opportunity to co-lead and manage national, regional, and local engagements across various therapeutic areas, contributing significantly to our mission and shaping the landscape of patient advocacy in the LAS region.
What You'll Do
Identify opportunities for impactful projects, tailoring solutions that enhance patient support and optimize outcomes.
Develop and execute comprehensive advocacy strategies, establishing and implementing best practices for engaging with patients, caregivers, and community stakeholders.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand Teams to integrate patient advocacy efforts into broader strategic initiatives.
Ensure all engagement with patient groups is compliant and transparent, adhering to company policies and supporting patients and caregivers.
Oversee the budget for patient advocacy activities, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and tracking outcomes.

Your commitment to ethical practices and transparency underscores every decision you make.
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Political Science, or a related field.
Advanced proficiency in English (written and verbal).
At least 3-5 years of experience in patient advocacy, market access, government relations, or related roles within the healthcare or biopharmaceutical industry.
Proven experience leading patient-focused initiatives.
Familiarity with the healthcare system and experience in developing strategies to support patient access.
Preferred Skills
Experience in cross-functional collaboration and working within a matrixed environment.
Strong analytical skills to gather and interpret patient insights and trends.
