Onboarding Specialist – Owners Early‑stage startup building the operating system for small business ownership seeks an Onboarding Specialist to join our Customer Success Team. As an Onboarding Specialist, you will be responsible for onboarding and training all new customers, working closely with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and Product teams to use your communication skills and technical know‑how to wow customers and help them realize the value that Owners brings to their business. Promote a “customer first” environment at all times. Become an Owners platform domain expert. Understand each new client’s goals and needs and tailor the onboarding process accordingly. Train clients on software platform basics and guide them through implementation and launch. Track and accomplish key implementation milestones. General Requirements Self‑aware, open to learning, and willing to ask for help. Bias for action with a thoughtful “stop and think” approach to inform decisions. Excited about a front‑row seat in a fast‑growing startup. Comfortable learning new skills independently and asking for forgiveness rather than permission. Exceptional analytical, written and verbal communication skills. Proven experience leading in an organization, making difficult decisions and influencing decision‑makers. Required Experience 2+ years experience in a customer‑facing role. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Attention to detail. Critical thinking and proven complex problem‑solving skills. Customer‑first mentality – ability to empathize and build loyalty. Leverage feedback for continuous improvement of the onboarding process.
