Country Business Communications Manager for Cluster ABB Country Business Communications Manager for Cluster ARG_ PARAGUY COL_PANAMA_EC_CARIBE: Contributes to business objectives through the development and deployment of innovative and effective marketing communications activities in line with global and local communication strategies, standards, and guidelines. In this role you will be responsible for key internal communications activities, management of business media and crisis management as well as ensuring positive branding of ABB in the country. This position reports to : Country Holding Officer Your responsibilities : Responsible for developing the marketing communication strategy and maintaining the positive image of the company and its brand and value proposition in the minds of the customers. Ensures relevant marketing communication strategy and plans align with global marketing, corporate, and country communications strategies and guidelines. Responsible for selecting relevant marketing communications tools, adapting, translating, and implementing, as required, to support sales initiatives and achieve the company’s objectives in the local business. Contributes to the development of inter-divisional/functional marketing initiatives. Researches, identifies, and selects external marketing communications service providers. Defines quality and delivery targets of externally assigned activities, monitors ongoing progress, and resolves issues. Ensures global targets and metrics for marketing communications initiatives are properly implemented and develops additional local measures as required. Reviews and evaluates results upon completion of the activities. Maintains and encourages a positive and integrated network in internal and external communication communities to promote knowledge of current practices and innovation. Your background : Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Marketing, PR or similar. Ten years of experience working in similar positions. Experience in Brand Employment, Communication Management or Public Relations in a matrix style organization and in a management role. In-depth demonstrable knowledge and experience of all aspects of internal and external communications mix. Extensive network within the press/media and experience in copywriting and editing. Understanding of the impact of communications on the organizational Brand and ability to advise Senior Leadership as well as communicate at all levels of the organization. Strong Business Partnering and communication skills, with experience of managing internal and external relationships with senior stakeholder. Availability to participate in press events and engagement activities. Good knowledge in Microsoft Excel. Advanced English skills. Collaborate, self-directed and great ability to work as a team.
