SAP We help the world run better Senior Controller Purpose and Role Summary : The SAP Business Area Controlling (BAC) Sales division is a driving force behind the standardization and harmonization of Controlling processes and tools within SAP's Controlling community. We have an opening within our Business Area Controlling Global Customer Success team. The role involves delivering controlling services and championing a reliable financial business partner to Global L1 / L2 Sales Units. The incumbent will foster financial transparency across various organizational dimensions, assure compliance and endorse financial sustainability. Responsibilities Guiding financial activities such as forecasting, budgeting, reporting, analysis, and financial closing to facilitate optimal financial performance Preparing and presenting the financial narrative to senior management supporting their business objectives Encouraging business transformation and changes to meet financial goals, highlighting potential risks and opportunities Guaranteeing financial transparency to strengthen business unit decisions Facilitating month-end and quarter-end closing activities including the latest estimate forecast and accruals Executing business analysis to provide actionable insight to our business partners Collaborating with stakeholders across various business units and within SAP Supporting the development of business models and cases Enhancing team dynamics and collaboration, embodying the spirit of One Team Safeguarding transparency and compliance with financial guidelines Enthusiastically adopting agile working methods and nurturing an agile mindset Required Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in finance and controlling Exceptional analytical and impressive problem-solving skills Excellent at working in a virtual team environment and independently with considerable self-initiative In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint Experience with SAP products (e.g., SAP CO/FI, Business Warehouse) is preferred Previous experience with SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) would be advantageous Capability to prioritize tasks effectively Good understanding of IT business models Excellent time management and ability to perform under stress and time pressure Fluent in spoken and written English We build breakthroughs together At SAP, we believe we are made stronger by the unique capabilities and qualities that each person brings to our company, and we invest in our employees to inspire confidence and help everyone realize their full potential.
