The department provides support worldwide to the Organizations all along the value chain from exploration thru site development to production. What role you will play in our team As a Site Reability Engineer you will pair traditional system administration practices with automation and software development skills to run technical applications of the Oil and Gas industry. Our office is located in Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires and you will interact with engineers and users from all around the world. #LI-Onsite What you will do Manage and automate the operations of bare metal & virtual infrastructure. Develop infrastructure as code in support of existing infrastructure automation initiatives in an Agile environment. Proactively build and implement platforms to enable reliable business capabilities. Manage tools for performance monitoring, alerting, capacity and utilization management and service recovery. Work in close coordination with architects, engineering teams, analysts and stakeholders in a dynamic environment to translate requirements into end-to-end solutions. Participate in platform and systems security reviews (authorization, authentication, security best practices, etc.) Support OnPrem, Virtual & Cloud Systems along with Storage. About you Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computing Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or similar. Advanced English skills, verbal and written communication. 2+ years’ experience in Infrastructure (with automation) or Site Reliability Engineering role, applying DevOps principles. Experience managing Windows/Linux environments on physical and virtual infrastructure. Proficiency in code versioning tools (e.g. Git), experience with build management and CI/CD (e.g. Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, GitHub Repos & Actions). Solid scripting and coding skills oriented to automation and orchestration (e.g. PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform) Proficiency in debugging and problem solving.
