Test Specialist

Your Role and Responsibilities Being part of an agile cell actively participating in the ceremonies defined for them with the role of ambassador of the testing practice and with a spirit of adding value; 100% of an Agile QA is dedicated to each agile cell. Establish the strategies, the testing plan and the scope of all the tests of the different components to guarantee the quality of the product. During the requirements definition and functional design stages, analyze the feasibility and way of testing each functional and non-functional requirement. Design and develop scenarios, test cases and acceptance criteria. Prepare the GHERKINs and their documentation in the tools defined for this purpose. Early identification of the needs/prerequisites for the execution of the tests in terms of environments, components, data and virtualizations and coordinate/manage their availability. Estimate the effort required to carry out the tests. Carry out the execution of the manual test cases and coordinate/manage the automated ones, depending on the progress of the construction/delivery of the HUs, agreeing on the best automation coverage strategy. Track tests and generate progress indicators, validating testing coverage and managing / escalating testing issues for resolution. Carry out and manage the monitoring, prioritization and resolution of the incidents identified in the tests. Inform the progress status of the tests of the assigned HUs in the corresponding ceremonies, determine compliance with the acceptance criteria in the closing of the sprint and issue conclusions, lessons learned and emerging recommendations in the retrospective ceremony. Actively participate in defining the scope of automations and their impact on the test plan. Know the tools to model and develop automatic test scripts and the execution of different types of tests (functional, integration, certification and load/performance/stress). Required Technical and Professional Expertise From 6 Month to 2 years of experience in activities related to software testing and at least 1 year of that experience participating in agile cells. Knowledge and experience in test plan management: design, planning, execution, monitoring and reporting. Knowledge and experience in testing activities management techniques and tools: Gherkin (exclusive), JIRA or similar (exclusive), HP ALM, HP-QC, or similar, Versioning and CI/CD: Gitlab, Nexus or similar, Virtualization of services and data: LISA, Postman Mock Server or similar, Automation of test cases: Cucumber / Appium / Selenium / Kobiton or similar, Quality/coverage tools: SonarQube, KubeBench, Owasp, Anchore or similar, Performance/load/stress test: Apache JMeter or similar.
