The role of the Converter Specialist is to develop client data related ETL solutions for KDN Tax & Legal- Indirect tax. The 'Converter' is an in-house developed ETL tool in which we are able to create client specific processes to handle different types of transactional data. The Converter has a global level framework with client specific configurations and the main focus in this role will be writing XML configuration files for the Converter tool. Work with colleagues and multinational clients in VAT compliance projects (requires both IT and financial knowledge) Write SQL based XML configuration files for VAT and Intrastat related data converters (data standardization and data manipulation), converter maintenance Support Transition team in creating demonstration materials in proposal phase Participate in software testing, product deployments Support the client and the business in software related issues Participate in preliminary analysis of client data Prepare support documentation for business departments Experience & Skills University/college studies or qualifications related to Business information systems Experience in a global matrix organisation, ideally with a tax background Previous experience in finance/ billing role is advantageous Fluent in both written and verbal English and Spanish Proficiency in using Team Foundation Server, SQL Server Management Studio Experience or ETL processes Proven knowledge of the development process (tests, builds and deployments) Analytical skills Team work Technical Knowledge Data cleansing, creation VBA codes Write codes in SQL Write codes in Alteryx #J-18808-Ljbffr
