Specialization: Obstetrics and Gynecology Job Summary Medical City Plano is seeking a collaborative and experienced Obgyn to serve as the Site Director of OB Hospitalists. This is an exceptional leadership opportunity for a physician who values clinical excellence, team development, and compassionate care in a hospital‑based setting. Responsibilities The Site Director plays a key dual role—leading a dedicated OB Hospitalist team while helping ensure the program meets both clinical and operational goals Site Director collaborates with the Regional Medical Director Collaborates closely with hospital leadership and medical teams to support exceptional outcomes for patients and providers Builds strong relationships with nurses, physicians, and administration Collaborates with Hospital and Division Leadership to support program financial performance Qualifications Board certification required Texas medical license or ability to obtain Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead through influence and communication At least two years of clinical experience preferred, with leadership experience a plus Incentive/Benefits Package Guaranteed hourly rate Extra shift incentive pay is available Holiday pay incentives Employment agreement with Physician Services Group Malpractice coverage included Comprehensive benefits package: health, dental, vision, disability, 401k CME allowance for continuing education, dues, and subscriptions Relocation assistance available Texas is a tort reform state with no state income tax About Medical City Plano 603‑bed, acute care facility in Plano, Texas Level IV NICU Level IV Maternal Designation First and only Level I Trauma Center in Collin County GME teaching hospital The Leapfrog Group® Hospital Safety Score – A Magnet® recognized for nursing excellence DFW Child Readers – Best Hospital to Have a Baby in Collin County Medical City Plano Sarah Cannon Hospital LEED® Gold certification Plano Star Courier Readers’ Choice Award – Best Hospital National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers About Dallas/Fort Worth The Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, commonly referred to as DFW or North Texas, encompasses 13 counties and is home to just over 8.3 million people.
