The Indirect & Equipment procurement team is responsible for the strategic sourcing of indirect goods and services and equipment for Ecolab. We support all 3rd party spend outside of direct raw material. The scope of responsibility is very diverse and supports all divisions and functions. Each category is supported by a Global leader that sets the strategic direction of the category and a sourcing plan. The Indirect Materials team embraces the TDC sourcing process, aspires to be a global and trusted advisor to all of our major stakeholders. Characteristics & Main Responsibilities Of Position Provide support for categories of major spend Lead local/regional and support global negotiations based on the strategies and needs of the businesses Deploy foundational and advanced elements of Total Delivered Cost (TDC) sourcing processes; identify and prepare market and spend analysis components Strengthen external networks with suppliers Own the contract process for the assigned category – ensuring contracts are updated, accurate, and uploaded in the required contract system Responsible for financial reporting of savings projects and headwinds; manage the tight materials/services process to ensure security of supply Identify alternate suppliers and/or alternate materials/processes and drive the approval process Takes ownership of monitoring project progress and delivering key project elements Subject‑matter expert on sourcing processes supporting day‑to‑day operations Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, related Business or relevant experience in purchasing and supervision More than five years of experience in indirect procurement Local market acknowledgement Negotiating, project management, business & financial, and contract management skills Digital platform handling (Power BI, e‑action tools); SAP English (intermediate or advanced) Our Commitment to a Culture of Inclusion & Belonging Ecolab is committed to fair and equal treatment of associates and applicants and to furthering the principles of Equal Opportunity to Employment.
