Reimagine What’s Possible The Manager of Information Technology is responsible for the strategic leadership, management, and oversight of the APCI Federal Credit Union’s (APCI FCU) information technology (IT) infrastructure, cybersecurity posture and digital systems in accordance with established APCI FCU, NCUA, FFIEC, Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (APCI) and other relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. This role ensures the reliability, security, and scalability of technology platforms while aligning IT initiatives with the APCI FCU’s strategic goals, regulatory requirements, and member service objectives. Nature and Scope The position is a member of the APCI FCU’s management team and reports to the APCI FCU’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In addition to the primary accountability for overall IT operations, the Manager of IT partners closely with executive leadership, department heads, vendors, and regulators to deliver secure, efficient, and innovative technology solutions that support operational excellence and member experience. The position is also required to be available to work nights, weekends, holidays and be available for any situation where IT support is needed. Deep understanding of IT Infrastructure and Data Security. Experience in creating Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans. Excellent verbal, written and group communication skills. Key Job Responsibilities Develop and execute the APCI FCU’s IT strategy in alignment with the strategic plan and business objectives while serving as the strategic advisor to executive management on technology trends, risks, and opportunities. Lead, mentor, and develop IT staff and manage relationships with core processors, technology vendors, and managed service providers. Oversee the daily IT operations, including networks, servers, cloud services, telecommunications, and end-user support. Establish and maintain IT policies, procedures, standards, and documentation. Oversee cybersecurity monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and penetration testing. Ensure disaster recovery, business continuity, and incident response plans are tested and maintained. Partner with the Compliance team and other APCI FCU departments on audits, exams, and risk assessments. Prepare reports for executive management, IT Steering Committee, Cyber Security Team, and Board of Directors. Perform other duties and complete projects assigned by executive management. Minimum Hiring Requirements A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required. Experience in a financial institution or regulated environment is preferred but is not required. Certifications in cybersecurity, risk, project, or IT management are preferred but are not required. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays and be available for any situation where IT support is needed. Expected travel: 5%. A valid driver’s license is required.
