Senior Consultant – Human Capital Consulting Location: Buenos Aires About the Role Mercer’s Career Consulting Team seeks a qualified Senior Consultant to join a team focused on employee and executive career management, rewards, and organizational transformation. The role spans Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay, developing client relationships and integrating solutions into value propositions. Responsibilities Lead the development and selling of commercial proposals/solutions. Proactively engage clients to position and sell the full Mercer portfolio. Manage key accounts and grow business within those accounts. Identify new business opportunities and manage the proposal process. Facilitate client meetings and act as a trusted advisor. Develop deep expertise in at least one practice area or industry. Delegate assignments to junior colleagues and review outputs for alignment with project needs. Lead the creation of client‑ready reports. Execute project delivery and, for larger projects, collaborate on planning and execution management. Teach Mercer values and ways of working to less experienced colleagues. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Management or Psychology. Relevant experience in Management Consulting or Human Resources with strong project management skills. Experience designing and implementing solutions or programs (human‑capital experience preferred). Excellent project management and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail. Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and proficiency with data tools such as Excel and PowerBI. Customer focus and orientation. Ability to build relationships and influence at executive levels. Strong leadership, collaboration, and networking skills. Curiosity, mental agility, flexibility, and adaptability. Highly driven, confident, resilient, positive, and motivated. Advanced English proficiency and strong written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
