Only an hour away is Branson that includes many shows to see, Silver Dollar City and shopping About the department Our float pool supplements staffing throughout the hospital based on need. Nurses who work in the Citizens Memorial Float Pool will be trained to float and support in a variety of areas including: Medical Surgical, Intensive Care, Telemetry, Geriatric Psych, The Birth Place, Emergency Department, and ASC‑pre/post op recovery. A typical day includes Receiving your shift assignment each day, bedside shift report, initial assessments, BMV scanning and med pass, coordinating and providing care utilizing critical thinking framework. Assisting with meals and daily hygiene, Educating patient/family from admission to discharge Maintaining patient/family confidentiality and privacy.
