Medical Assistant or Limited X-Ray Technologist Urgent Team is looking for experienced Medical Assistants or Limited License X‑Ray Techs to join our teams at Washington Regional Urgent Care in Rogers and Bentonville, AR. A state Limited X‑Ray License, or willingness to obtain one upon hire, is required. About Washington Regional Urgent Care Washington Regional Urgent Care, now operating six locations in Northwest Arkansas, is an affiliate of Urgent Team, one of the largest independent operators of urgent and family care centers in the Southeast. The Urgent Team family of centers provides quality and affordable family healthcare at more than 80 locations under eight brands. Our walk‑in centers offer a range of healthcare services, including treatments for injuries and illnesses, occupational health, and wellness care. Centers are open seven days a week: Monday‑Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sunday, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. All Centers are Accredited Care Centers, a designation from the Urgent Care Association recognizing the company’s commitment to safety, quality, and scope of services. Job Summary This position will perform x‑ray testing, including body mechanics and patient movement using knowledge of anatomy and physiology. The candidate will operate diagnostic equipment, develop film, and prepare the room with necessary equipment and supplies for procedures. Skills in medical assisting are also required. Full‑time team members work 36‑40 hours each week, including every‑other weekend. PRN (per diem) team members are scheduled on an as‑needed basis. Key Responsibilities Perform timely radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician. Perform necessary quality control procedures to ensure high‑quality exams. Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and follow established clinical and regulatory procedures regarding patient safety and care, including proper radiation protection and shielding techniques. Ensure equipment is in proper working order and report any malfunctions to the Area Manager or provider on duty. Follow documentation procedures and complete required documentation related to patient visits. Assume responsibility for maintaining and improving diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills with support and educational resources. Maintain current licensure and certification for facility radiology equipment and licensure. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent education based on certification type; skills in medical assisting are required. State x‑ray license, or willingness to obtain one upon hire, is required.
