Senior AI Full-Stack Developer

Overview OneSeven Tech (OST) is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our team. We are looking for someone who focuses on building and deploying full-scale applications while leveraging cutting-edge AI tools to maximize efficiency and code quality. A fast-moving U.S.-based compliance startup is building tooling to help Meta advertisers stay within ad policy guidelines—and avoid costly account suspensions. The team is mid-way through an ambitious delivery cycle, and we’re looking for a senior engineer to jump in and own full-stack features from day one . This is part of a broader strategy to stabilize sprint velocity, bring in high-signal contributors, and ship production-ready code across both backend and frontend systems. Role We’re looking for a Full-Stack Engineer with a strong frontend focus (React 18 + TypeScript) and solid Python skills to build scalable, high-performance, offline-first web products. You’ll work with a distributed team in agile cycles, prioritizing code quality, developer experience, and observability. Responsibilities Deliver end-to-end features: UI in React + TypeScript and services/functions in Python. Implement GraphQL (queries, mutations, subscriptions) and optimize state/cache. Build offline-first PWAs (Service Workers, IndexedDB, background sync). Integrate camera & geolocation (live capture, geo-stamping). Ship and maintain AWS Lambda / Serverless integrations with S3, SES, SNS. Model and query PostgreSQL using Prisma/Knex or similar. Implement authentication with Cognito or JWT and role-based access control. Ensure quality (tests, form validation with React Hook Form) and observability (CloudWatch, structured logs). Collaborate with Design/PM, participate in code reviews, and contribute to CI/CD. About You You’ve seen what it takes to ship features in fast-paced, distributed environments. You value clarity, autonomy, and clear ownership. You don’t need micromanagement—and you communicate well enough to make async work feel seamless. You’re a calm, focused contributor who enjoys working across the stack and knows how to unblock yourself or others without waiting for standups. Requirements Must-Have Skills React.js 18+ with TypeScript (Hooks, component architecture, React Hook Form, state with Zustand or Redux Toolkit). Python (API/services development; FastAPI/Django REST a plus). GraphQL (Apollo Client or URQL) — queries, mutations, subscriptions. Offline-first PWA: Service Workers, IndexedDB, background sync. Mobile-first responsive UI with TailwindCSS or Material-UI. Camera & Geolocation APIs (live capture, geo-stamping). AWS Lambda (any Serverless framework). PostgreSQL (queries; Prisma/Knex or similar). AWS SDK (S3 uploads, SES emails, SNS notifications). Authentication: Cognito or JWT, RBAC. Error handling & logging: CloudWatch, structured logs. Bonus Skills Experience with low-bandwidth/intermittent connectivity. Testing: React Testing Library, Cypress. Advanced Serverless and cold-start optimization. API Gateway (REST/HTTP).
