Sr. Local Trial Manager – Sponsor Dedicated Local Trial Management services provide local management of a clinical trial (or Medical Affairs data generation activity) in a country or countries. Services and deliverables include operational oversight of assigned project(s) at the country level for end-to-end project management from start‑up through to closeout. Responsibilities Adhere to applicable Sponsor SOPs, work instructions, policies, GCP, and local regulatory requirements. Prepare or contribute to high‑level budget estimates and detailed budget proposals; manage contracts with external service providers, including change orders and service delivery. Act as the primary company contact for assigned trials at the country level, ensuring the local/country team tracks project progress, meets timelines, and monitors patient recruitment to achieve enrollment targets across the allocated countries. Drive study compliance by maintaining and updating trial management systems, analyzing trial progress through study tools and reports, and participating in Health Authority inspections and internal Quality Assurance audits. Escalate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to GTL MAO and CPL when deviations occur, and communicate study progress and issues to study management teams and business partners. Contribute to site‑level recruitment strategy and contingency planning in partnership with functional areas to achieve clinical research targets. Support patient understanding of protocol and safety by reviewing and managing country‑specific informed consent documents in accordance with SOPs and applicable regulations. Qualifications BA/BS degree in a health or science‑related field. Minimum of 5 years of local trial management experience in the pharmaceutical industry or CRO, including experience as a Clinical Research Associate. Knowledge of ICH‑GCP, company SOPs, local laws, regulations, protocols, and protocol‑specific procedures. Strong IT skills in relevant software and company systems; willingness to travel with occasional overnight stay. Excellent decision‑making and financial management skills. Proficiency in speaking and writing the local language and English; strong written and oral communication skills.
