Only an hour south is Branson, where you can take in a family-friendly show, visit Silver Dollar City, and experience world-class shopping at the Branson Landing About the department: The main hospital Laboratory Department offers a fast-paced work environment that is staffed 24/7 to provide diagnostic laboratory services as requested by attending physicians and providers. You’ll work as a member of a team and have opportunities to grow as each team member is expected to help in all areas of the lab, including chemistry, hematology, and serology. A typical day includes: Performing laboratory functions, specimen testing, and quality control as per policy and procedures utilizing equipment, supplies, and procedures appropriate to the ages of the patients served for all subsequent duties. Receives written requisitions from physicians for laboratory tests Obtains laboratory specimens using established laboratory techniques Calibrates, maintains, and operates equipment necessary to perform tests Reports tests to areas designated in a timely manner Performs daily surveillance of test results, work records, and quality control in the department under supervision This Position Is: Full-time nights, 8:30pm-7:00am with shift differential and working 8 on and 6 off.
