ABOUT THE ROLE Senior AWS/Security Networking Engineer will design, implement, optimize AWS networking solutions and enforce security standards. WHAT YOU WILL DO Design, implement, and optimize AWS networking solutions (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, PrivateLink, Route 53, ALB/NLB, etc.). Define and enforce security standards aligned with NIST and CIS benchmarks. Conduct network and security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and drive remediation plans. Support incident response and troubleshooting across the network and security stack. Automate routine tasks using IaC and security‑as‑code best practices. Partner with governance, risk, and compliance teams to maintain audit readiness. MUST HAVE 3+ years of experience. AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty; AWS Security Specialty. Core networking concepts (routing, DNS, firewalls, load balancers) and AWS networking constructs (VPC, subnets, security groups, NACLs, Transit Gateway). Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks, CIS benchmarks, and hands‑on experience with AWS security services (IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub, WAF, Shield, etc.). Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform) and familiarity with SIEM, intrusion detection/prevention, vulnerability scanning tools. Upper‑Intermediate English.
