JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design and Implement Security Measures for Azure Infrastructure and Applications:

- Develop and implement security strategies to protect Azure resources.
- Configure Azure Security Center, Azure Policy, and other security services.
- Implement network security controls, including firewalls, network security groups (NSGs), and virtual network (VNet) peering.
- Monitor and Manage Security Tools and Services:

- Continuously monitor Azure environments for security threats using Azure Sentinel and other monitoring tools.
- Manage security alerts and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
- Conduct Security Assessments and Audits:

- Perform regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability scanning.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during security audits.
- Develop and Maintain Security Policies and Procedures:

- Create and update security policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Educate and train team members on security best practices and policies.
- Ensure that security policies are enforced and followed.
- Respond to Security Incidents and Perform Investigations:

- Develop and implement incident response plans.
- Document and report security incidents and findings.
- Document Security Configurations and Incident Responses:

- Maintain detailed documentation of security configurations, policies, and procedures.
- Document incident response actions and lessons learned.
- Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

**Requirements**:

- Extensive experience with Azure security services and tools
- Proficiency in security best practices and frameworks
- Strong knowledge of network security, identity and access management, and data protection
- Hands-on experience with scripting and automation for security tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in cloud security engineering
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Security Engineer Associate) are a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
