Cloud Networking Engineer

That’s why the Cloud Engineers who handle our network are fully immersed in the system and their work has a direct impact on the service we deliver. As a part of the Private Cloud team, you’ll work with a wide range of technologies to keep our platform services up and running in the best possible way. You will collaborate with specialists from several other teams, which creates opportunities to learn and grow within our Engineering area. Responsibilities Gain a profound knowledge of the entire Avature infrastructure and processes. Have ownership of the network, actively working on improving the system. Propose and implement enhancements to the way we work, looking for ways to improve processes. Participate in projects to improve our networking infrastructure. Collaborate in network design definitions. Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents that may arise. Monitor, analyze, and solve cloud issues. Manage relationships with providers. Automate recurrent tasks and minimize common incidents. About You Attentive to solving issues that may arise at any time. Good troubleshooting skills. Advanced knowledge in Networking including: Static and dynamic routing (OSPF and BGP); VPNs IPsec; Switching; Security Policies; VRRP and stacking; NAT; Firewall configuration. Organized and able to work autonomously. Understanding monitoring tools such as SNMP protocol is desired. Infrastructure-as-code knowledge (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus. Knowledge about cloud virtualization environments (AWS, OpenStack) is a plus. Knowledge about Juniper is a plus. Linux administration knowledge is a plus.
