Cloud Ops Engineer Avature Sourcing Specialist | Talent Acquisition The Cloud Ops team is a key part of Cloud Services, the area in charge of our infrastructure. As Cloud Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the resilience, availability, and reliability of the sophisticated infrastructure our systems rely on. Collaborating with teams from several engineering specializations, you’ll be in direct contact with a variety of operating systems, cloud technologies, and DevOps methodologies we use through the entire development pipeline, ensuring smooth operations all the way. Your challenges and objectives: Understand Avature’s infrastructure and processes. Build, deploy, and configure cloud‑based infrastructure resources on production and development environments. Learn to apply DevOps and SRE techniques to automate solutions to complex problems. Perform troubleshooting on ongoing incidents, ensuring quick and reliable responses to monitoring events. Interact and collaborate with colleagues from all around the globe. Hold ownership and accountability over our Linux‑based infrastructure on‑prem and in the cloud. Apply changes in our platforms using configuration management and infrastructure‑as‑code principles. Ensure resilience and continuity on running systems with quick response to outages. Be responsible for the general administration of our Linux nodes and cloud resources. About you: Background on managing cloud‑based platforms. Knowledge of monitoring systems, virtualization, web servers, networking, and other common IT services. Proficiency in English. Understanding of security mechanisms for operating systems and cloud services. Genuine interest in DevOps, containerization, configuration management and infrastructure as code in general.
