Sr Back End Support Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Support Engineer to maintain, support, and enhance core SaaS applications used by financial institutions in the real estate and mortgage lending industry. The role focuses on ensuring system integrity, enabling operational efficiency, and supporting mission‑critical products that integrate with loan origination systems and nationwide property data services. This position requires a strong technical foundation in application support, troubleshooting, monitoring, and backend technologies. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and experienced in maintaining complex distributed systems and microservice‑based architectures. Key Responsibilities Prioritize, document, and communicate software issues—including escalations—to the development team in a timely manner. Ensure integrity between core applications and ancillary systems to minimize operational risk and business disruption. Maintain deep knowledge of microservice‑based architectures and understand the service impact of component failures. Identify trends in service disruptions using APM metrics and recommend improvements to technical leadership. Manage and optimize APM dashboards, proposing enhancements that improve system performance and reliability. Serve as a technical resource for the installation and support of proprietary and third‑party applications across business units (banking, lending, mortgage, accounting, investment services). Develop custom solutions and tools that increase efficiency, accuracy, service levels, and automation. Support system monitoring, logging, and debugging processes across services and environments. Utilize DXI tools (e.g., FullStory) to drive insights and improve platform performance and user experience. Basic Qualifications Intermediate/Advanced English skills with strong communication abilities. Self‑motivated, quick learner, and adaptable to new technologies and legacy systems. Thrives in a team environment, actively contributes to collaboration, fostering a sense of community. Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to issue resolution. Embraces new ideas to enhance problem‑solving processes. Requirements 3–5 years of experience in software or web application support. Strong knowledge of REST API concepts and integration. Experience with monitoring and logging tools for applications and systems. Hands‑on experience supporting applications built with: C#, ASP.NET, MVC, LINQ SQL Server (2005/2008) Node.js Experience with Web Services and ASP.NET Web API. Familiarity with object‑oriented programming and modern open‑source technologies (Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker). Experience supporting both server‑side and client‑side web applications.
