When joining Tietoevry Create as a Lead Quality Engineer You join a skilled team of quality engineers and software developers where you learn new things with your colleagues. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include: Responsibilities Leading the quality assurance process for various projects. Developing and implementing quality standards and best practices. Conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance. Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues. Providing training and support to team members on quality‑related matters. Who We Are Looking For Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role. Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to lead and mentor a team. Fluency in Spanish and English, both verbally and in writing. Strong QA and testing foundational knowledge including testing techniques, testing process and documentation, defect reporting and tracking. Proficient with at least one programming language (Java or Python preferred). Good notions of object‑oriented programming and their applications on automated test development. Ability to implement simple automated test cases using UI test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress or Playwright. Good API and API testing notions. University studies in Software Engineering, System Analysis, or a related IT field. Commitment and enthusiasm to go deeper into automation testing. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
