About The Opportunity The Facilities Specialist will assist with overseeing third‑party vendors in Cleaning, Facilities, and Security, monitoring operational expense and performance. The role supports the Manager with day‑to‑day management in each building. On‑site role for North cluster: WeWork Libertador & Blas Parera. Continual focus on Member Experience through improvement plans. Act as the liaison between the Community team and the building’s Property Management team for any escalated issues. Proactive approach to operational standards, safety, communication, and cost management. Approve and maintain budget for reactive service requests outside of the standard contract. Prioritize daily facility issues and effectively delegate responsibilities. Oversee all preventative maintenance programs across the portfolio, solving escalated maintenance requests via ticketing system. Handle the day‑to‑day procure‑to‑pay cycle within Workday for operation vendors, manage contract records ensuring contracts are active, have sufficient value, and are up to date. Support vendor performance monitoring and reporting. Support bulk procurement practices of the building. Raise purchase orders for the Facilities Team (add‑ons, CAPEX, other projects, building openings & exits). Review food & beverage and office supply orders and trends for each site, advising Community teams on accurate stock levels each month. Key Result Areas Act as the single point of contact for Community, Sales, Members, and Vendors within the portfolio. Maintain supplier and vendor performance quality and cost across the portfolio. Provide support in all trades and services to effectively maintain buildings and continually reduce defects. Increase operational effectiveness and efficiency of buildings and infrastructure. Illustrate the WeWork core values and strive to achieve our mission. Maintain portfolio’s SLA’s and KPI’s. About You Do the following sound like you? If so, we’d love to hear from you: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial / Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field. Proficient in English. Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility building management, infrastructure maintenance, or related industry. Customer service skills; excellent communication across multiple staffing levels. Demonstrated ability to define and assess problems and implement solutions; strong attention to detail, problem solving, and time management. Experience working with multiple vendor partners. Ability to build relationships and work cross‑functionally in a high‑paced environment. Intermediate knowledge of MS Office. High level of accuracy and neatness.
