Travel/Mobility Analyst

As a Travel Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing travel data to support strategic decisions and enhance travel efficiency for our organization. You will manage travel programs, evaluate travel trends, and provide insights to improve travel policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Reporting- Collect, analyze, and interpret travel data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Prepare detailed reports and dashboards on travel expenditure, travel patterns, and policy compliance.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
Travel Program Management:- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of current travel programs and policies.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve travel program efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate with travel vendors and service providers to negotiate rates and manage relationships.
Policy and Procedure Development:- Assist in the creation and revision of travel policies and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with travel policies and industry regulations.
- Provide training and support to employees on travel policies and procedures.
Budget Management:- Assist in the preparation and management of travel budgets.
- Track and report on travel expenditures, identifying areas for cost reduction.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure accurate and compliant travel spending.
Travel Trend Analysis:- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in travel management.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools or technologies to enhance travel management processes.
Customer Service and Support:- Serve as a point of contact for travel-related inquiries and issues.
- Provide support and resolution for travel-related problems and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with travel coordinators and stakeholders to ensure a smooth travel experience.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Travel Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Travel Analyst, Travel Manager, or in a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
- Excellent understanding of travel management systems and processes.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in travel management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Travel Management or Data Analytics (e.g., GTP, CTP, CCRA).
- Experience with travel management software (e.g., Concur, SAP, Amadeus).
- Familiarity with corporate travel policies and regulations.
