We're looking for our next Fiber Network Platforms & Services Coordinator

What will you do in this role?

• Take responsibility for the stability, availability, and evolution of the infrastructure that powers our connectivity services.
• Lead a technical team of two, guiding and developing them through operational tasks and strategic projects.
• Design and implement initiatives to consolidate current infrastructure, optimize processes, and complete the end-to-end digitization journey.
• Contribute to architecture design, process automation, OSS/BSS integration, and service quality assurance.
• Collaborate with business, engineering, operations, and IT security teams to align technology initiatives with the company's strategic goals.

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Lead the technology strategy for SDAN automatic service provisioning platforms on FTTH networks, defining architecture, scalability, and automation standards that guarantee operational efficiency and service quality.
• Supervise and coordinate a specialized technical team, promoting their professional development, operational autonomy, and alignment with the area's strategic objectives, acting as a mentor and technical reference.
• Design IT architectures are integrated with cloud solutions (AWS), middleware (Mulesoft), APIs (REST/SOAP), and OSS/BSS systems, ensuring the interoperability, security, and scalability of the platforms.
• Drive advanced automation initiatives and DevOps practices, including CI/CD, observability, infrastructure as code, and configuration management, aimed at reducing human error and accelerating solution delivery.
• Manage highly complex technology projects, from planning to execution, ensuring compliance with KPIs, SLAs, costs, and deadlines, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as a technical reference in audits, architecture reviews, and innovation committees, providing strategic vision and experience in platform integration and digital transformation.
• Oversee the operation of critical platforms, ensuring their availability, performance, and security under Zero Trust principles, and establishing resilience and failover mechanisms.
• Define and evolve monitoring tools, dashboards, and control systems that enable proactive network management, incident anticipation, and continuous improvement of customer experience.
• Promote the adoption of frameworks and best practices such as ITIL, TMForum, TOGAF, and agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe), ensuring alignment with international standards and the operational maturity of the area
• Participate in budget planning and ROI evaluation, managing technology contracts, licenses, and services, with a focus on financial efficiency and investment sustainability.
• Coordinate across business areas, engineering, operations, IT security, and strategic suppliers, facilitating the integration of solutions and the execution of digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications
SKILLS - Mandatory

• Technical and multidisciplinary team leadership, with the ability to coordinate, motivate, and develop talent.
• Management of complex projects (PMI, Agile, Scrum), with a focus on meeting KPIs, SLAs, deadlines, and budgets.
• Design and implementation of IT architectures integrated with OSS/BSS platforms, cloud solutions (AWS), middleware (Mulesoft), and APIs (REST/SOAP).
• Solid knowledge of networks and telecommunications, including FTTH, SDAN, MPLS, dynamic routing, and automatic provisioning technologies.
• Experience in automation and DevOps practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability, and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Analytical skills and results-oriented, with strategic vision and a focus on continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of IT security, including Zero Trust principles, firewalls, NAT, access policies, and vulnerability management.
• Proficiency in monitoring and visualization tools (PowerBI, Grafana, custom dashboards).
• Effective communication, both with technical profiles and business areas.
• Advanced English, spoken and written.

SKILLS - Desired

• Previous experience leading IT units or technology platform areas.
• Knowledge of reference frameworks such as ITIL, TMForum, TOGAF.
• Experience in digital transformation and legacy platform evolution.
• Knowledge of budget management, ROI assessment, and technology contracts.
• Familiarity with operational maturity models and technical audits.
• Experience in integrating georeferenced systems (GIS).
• Complementary training in data science, enterprise architecture, or cybersecurity.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• University degree in Electronics, Systems, Telecommunications Engineering, or related fields. Postgraduate studies in systems architecture, technology management, or digital transformation will be valued.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar positions within telecommunications operators, technology service providers, or IT solution integrators.
• Proven experience leading technical teams, managing multidisciplinary projects, and coordinating automation initiatives, platform integration, and technological evolution.
• Advanced command of English, both spoken and written, to interact with international suppliers, technical documentation, and global teams.

Solid Technical Knowledge In

• Networking: MPLS, dynamic routing protocols, automatic provisioning, network monitoring.
• IT security: firewalls, NAT rules, Zero Trust, access policies.
• IT infrastructure: virtualization, Linux operating systems, production environment administration.
• Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Scripting and automation languages: Python, Bash, DevOps tools (GitHub, Jenkins, CI/CD).
• Cloud computing: practical experience with AWS and associated services.
• Systems integration: REST/SOAP APIs, middleware (Mulesoft), OSS/BSS.
• Advanced use of management and analysis tools: PowerBI, Microsoft Project, Excel.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, including collaborative leadership, effective communication, strategic thinking, and results orientation
