Storage Engineer (Ref- Inf)

Descripción

Buscamos un Storage Engineer Senior para liderar un proyecto crítico de migración de aproximadamente 90 TB de datos desde una unidad Tintri NAS hacia un entorno SAN.

El rol requiere experiencia sólida en almacenamiento, migración de datos, administración de shares Windows/Unix y coordinación técnica con equipos de IT.

Responsabilidades

  • Diseñar y establecer un plan de proyecto para ejecutar la transición completa hacia el nuevo entorno de almacenamiento.
  • Identificar datos candidatos para archiving en nube y definir la estrategia correspondiente.
  • Realizar todas las tareas previas necesarias para configurar mounts y shares Windows y Unix.
  • Configurar, de ser necesario, un servidor Windows secundario para administrar shares CIFS.
  • Coordinar con equipos de IT el setup de red, accesos y configuraciones asociadas.
  • Ejecutar la migración completa de los datos asegurando integridad, performance y continuidad operativa.
  • Monitorear el avance, identificar riesgos y proponer mejoras durante todo el proceso de migración.

Requisitos

  • Experiencia sólida como Storage Engineer, con foco en migraciones de gran volumen.
  • Conocimiento avanzado en:
  • NAS / SAN
  • Tintri (deseable)
  • CIFS, NFS, administración de shares Windows y Unix
  • Networking asociado a almacenamiento
  • Experiencia configurando servidores Windows para gestión de shares.
  • Capacidad demostrada para liderar proyectos técnicos de migración extremo a extremo.
  • Inglés avanzado para coordinar y documentar actividades.

Deseable

  • Experiencia previa en proyectos de archiving en cloud.
  • Conocimientos en automatización o scripting para tareas repetitivas.
  • Experiencia trabajando en equipos distribuidos y entornos 100% remotos.
