Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Level 2 (L2)

Experience: 6–8 years of relevant experience

Role Summary:

The L2 SRE is responsible for managing and maintaining the reliability, performance, and scalability of

cloud-based systems. This role handles incident management, monitoring, automation, and contributes to

system design while mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and resolve complex incidents, ensuring minimal impact on services.

• Implement, maintain, and improve monitoring and alerting systems.

• Automate routine tasks and operational processes.

• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.

• Contribute to system design and architecture discussions.

• Collaborate with teams to enhance system reliability and operational efficiency.

Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms and services.

• Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with automation and configuration management tools.

• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

• Excellent analytical and debugging skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and proactively identify issues.

• Mentorship skills for junior team members.

• English B2+.

Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Level 3 (L3)

Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience

Role Summary:

The L3 SRE is a senior expert responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of highly

available, scalable, and resilient systems. This role leads SRE best practices, drives automation and

continuous improvement initiatives, and provides technical guidance across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of SRE best practices across systems and services.

• Define and enforce Service Level Objectives (SLOs) to ensure system reliability.

• Drive automation, orchestration, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Provide expert support for high-impact incidents and system issues.

• Design and implement highly available, scalable, and resilient systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system architecture and reliability strategies.

• Mentor and guide SRE and operations teams at an expert level.

Skills & Competencies:

• Expert-level knowledge of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.

• Extensive experience with automation and orchestration tools.

• Deep understanding of performance optimization and system scalability.

• Strong programming and scripting skills.

• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.

• Ability to innovate and drive improvements in SRE practices.

• English B2+.
