Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for business-critical applications. This role requires expertise in Azure, Kubernetes, and scripting, with a focus on deployment automation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD Pipeline Development: Create and maintain Azure YAML pipelines for CI/CD, including Quality Gates (QGs) to ensure code quality and compliance.
Source Control Management: Apply Git and SCM best practices for version control and collaborative development.
Cloud Infrastructure Setup: Provision and configure Azure resources to meet engineering requirements.
Infrastructure Automation: Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates or Terraform, integrated with Azure pipelines.
Container Orchestration: Administer and optimize Kubernetes clusters, leveraging advanced features for scalability and resilience.
Application Understanding: Analyze application architecture and interactions with other services to assist in troubleshooting and performance optimization.
Scripting & Automation: Develop scripts in PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate repetitive tasks and integrate them into CI/CD workflows.
Identity & Access Management: Understand AAD application registration and backend interactions for secure deployments.
Data & Event Flow: Comprehend data pipelines and event-driven architectures to support application reliability.
Innovation: Knowledge of Machine Learning workflows and Lightbend Cloudflow is a plus.
Release & Deployment: Implement best practices for release management and deployment strategies.

Required Skills

Strong experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, and YAML-based automation.
Expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration.
Proficiency in Git and SCM best practices.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Terraform).
Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
Familiarity with AAD, networking, and cloud security principles.
