Job Description
At Syngenta, our goal is to build the most collaborative and trustworthy team in agriculture, providing top-quality seeds and innovative crop protection solutions that improve farmers' success. To support this mission, Syngenta's FISO & Fin Planning Latam team is seeking a Financial Solutions Analyst in Vicente Lopez, Buenos Aires. This role aims to implement and manage innovative financial solutions, coordinating with institutions and commercial teams to optimize business objectives:

Accountabilities

• Collaborate with the implementation of financial solution programs necessary to meet the objectives of the business unit.
• Proactively search the market for new financial solutions and develop detailed business cases to evaluate their implementation.
• Coordinate with partners and financial institutions the monitoring and execution of agreements, guaranteeing updated information for decision-making.
• Provide support to the commercial area and customers, advising on the available financing alternatives that contribute to the generation of business through these tools.

Qualifications
Required

• Professionals with degrees in: Economics or related fields
• Experience in Finance areas (+3 years)
• Knowledge of financial analysis (upfront interest conversion, calculation of total financial cost, understanding of key financial ratios, etc.)
• Proficiency in MS Office (Advanced Excel and PowerPoint)
• Advanced English
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Openness and willingness to learn
• Positive attitude towards obstacles
• Autonomy, proactivity and initiative

Desired

• Experience implementing financial solutions or structured finance (such as check discounting, factoring, trusts, etc.)
• SAP ERP Proficiency
• Experience in relations with financial institutions, ALyCs (Settlement and Clearing Agents), traders and exporters
• Experience in the agricultural sector and/or grain operations
