Description Of Work
This position has the on-going responsibility as the Regional Child Welfare Permanency Specialist for the following in Region 6:

  • Monitoring, training, and providing or arranging technical assistance to the county child welfare permanency programs.
  • Working with the county in improving their program and directing the CQI process.
  • On and off-site consultation and coaching.
  • Review of records.
  • Review of data related to performance measures and other metrics.
  • Building professional relationships to improve outcomes for adults, children and families while remaining in compliance with federal regulations, North Carolina General Statutes, and Administrative Rules and policies.
  • Each Specialist will serve a region of 14-16 counties. (Bladen, Brunswick, Carteret, Columbus, Craven, Cumberland, Duplin, Jones, Lenoir, New Hanover, Onslow, Pamlico, Pender, and Sampson Counties):

Knowledge Skills And Abilities/Management Preferences
Salary Range: $55,823 - $97,689

Recruitment Range: $55,823 - $76,756

  • Experience working with North Carolina child welfare permanency program statutes, rules, policies, and best practices to provide guidance, consultation, and technical assistance to county child welfare staffs
  • Experience in change management and implementation theory in providing intensive technical assistance to create continuous quality improvement processes within county child welfare programs.

This position is funded in part through federal funds.
This position will close at 11:59 p.m. the night before the end date.
