Sr Lawyer

The Sr Lawyer is responsible for providing functional and administrative support to the Legal Manager for Central, Andean and South subregion (CAS), as well as to internal and external clients of the company in all matters related to the MLAs and vendors legal processes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Participate and contribute along with negotiation and drafting of the Master Lease Agreements (MLA's"), Built to Suit Agreements (BTS), Distributed Antenna System (DAS), amendments and other commercial agreements.
• Participate and contribute along with negotiation and drafting vendor agreements, communications, and amendments. 
• Provide legal advice to all departments of the company consolidating the position as an in-house multispecialty lawyer with strong knowledge of matters related to the telecommunications sector. 
• Oversee and manage external lawyers and notaries.
• Advise upon the variety of Key Contracts to internal clients of the company (sales, finance, operations, property management, others).
• Provide support in the development of new business contractual models.
• Perform tasks effectively and efficiently, prioritizing pending tasks, responding to the different company needs by implementing an organized, dynamic and planned agenda, including, when needed, the involvement of external lawyers in order to meet the company's needs in a timely manner.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Lawyer from one of the CAS markets. LLM in commercial or corporate law preferred. 
• Experience spearheading projects with little or no supervision.
• At least 5 years of work experience of which at least 3 should be in similar position in a top tier law firm and/or telecom related company. 
• Strong experience in legal document drafting highly preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English at an advanced level.
