Role Summary
We are seeking a
hands-on SAP Joule Expert
to lead the
deployment, customization, and operationalization of SAP Joule
across
S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and cross-system SAP landscapes
. This role blends
functional SAP consulting, technical configuration, and AI orchestration
, with a strong focus on execution and client value delivery.

This is
not a theoretical or advisory-only role
. The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly in SAP tenants—activating entitlements, configuring environments, building rapid PoCs, troubleshooting issues, and guiding clients to unlock tangible business value from SAP's generative AI ecosystem.

• Joule Activation & Deployment
• Lead activation of SAP Joule Base, Joule Premium, and Joule for Developers across TDD, QAS, and Production environments.
• Validate system entitlements, configure conversational capabilities, and ensure tenant readiness.
• Perform technical and functional smoke testing to ensure stability and expected behavior.
• Configure and validate Premium agentic scenarios available via SAP Discovery Center (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, HR, etc.).
• Define and manage AI Unit consumption models per use case.
• Optimize prompts, agentic flows, and reasoning steps to reduce AI Unit usage while maintaining output quality.
• Provision and configure Joule Studio on SAP BTP.
• Build custom agentic workflows leveraging AI Core, AI Launchpad, SAP Graph, and BTP services.
• Develop end-to-end solutions integrating enterprise data, business rules, and automation.
• Contribute reusable accelerators, frameworks, and industry templates in collaboration with internal AI teams.
• Design Joule-centric architectures integrating S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, CX, and other SAP platforms.
• Integrate with SAP Datasphere, SAP Build Process Automation, and external APIs where required.
• Ensure secure, scalable, and compliant deployments aligned with SAP AI governance best practices.
• Partner with C-level stakeholders, IT leaders, and business owners to define AI-first use cases.
• Deliver enablement sessions, workshops, and training for internal consultants and customer teams.
• Act as a subject-matter expert and thought leader for SAP Joule and SAP GenAI solutions.

Requirements
*Required Technical Skills*

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP (subaccounts, entitlements, destinations, role collections).
• Practical experience with AI Core and AI Launchpad
• 5-7 years of professional experience in SAP consulting, AI architecture, or SAP BTP-centric roles.
• Proven hands-on experience delivering production-grade SAP or AI-enabled solutions
• Solid understanding of S/4HANA business processes (Finance, Procurement, Logistics, or Manufacturing).
• Knowledge of LLM orchestration, prompt engineering, and agentic design patterns.
• Experience with SAP Joule Base & Premium packages, entitlements, and activation workflows.
• Ability to troubleshoot integrations across S/4HANA BTP Joule.
• Experience executing SAP Discovery Center missions and Premium agent scenarios.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with SAP Graph
• Knowledge of SAP Build Process Automation
• Background in AI/ML or Generative AI development
• Programming experience in Python or for agent orchestration
• Experience presenting in webinars, customer demos, or industry events
