Salt Square is looking for a UI / Product & Media Designer to join our team, working with one of our Swiss clients.

We're seeking someone passionate about creating seamless customer experiences — a designer who combines creativity, craftsmanship, and speed to deliver impactful results across a wide range of design challenges.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to shape and lead a diverse portfolio of design projects. To thrive, you should be highly creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.

In this job role you will:

  • Create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that align with our brand values and enhance the overall user experience.
  • Rapidly develop and iterate UI designs, adapting to feedback and changes while maintaining visual consistency.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless, user-centered designs.
  • Leverage user research and usability testing conducted by team members to inform design decisions, creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.

  • Participate in regular team meetings to share progress updates and ensure smooth communication and collaboration.

  • Proven experience as a UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.

  • Great taste – you can recognize and create designs that are both visually striking and delightful to use.
  • A stellar portfolio showcasing your unique aesthetic, design judgment, attention to detail, and the depth and range of your skills.
  • An open and curious mindset – you explore multiple approaches, seek feedback, and adapt easily to new requirements or challenges.
  • A love for speed and progress – you thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering quickly and iterating often.
  • Strong organizational skills – you keep your design files, assets, and process tidy and efficient.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills – you can clearly articulate design decisions and trade-offs.
  • Fluency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to have skills:

  • Proven experience collaborating effectively with software engineers and seeing your designs through to successful launch.
  • Previous startup experience is a plus.
  • Experience in graphic, illustrative, or animation design is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with digital healthcare or health tech products is preferred.
