Job Summary

Our client is an exciting and rapidly growing leader transforming the land investment industry across the United States.

They are using cutting-edge AI to source and purchase off-market properties, making transactions smooth for sellers and unlocking extreme long-term value.

With a data-driven approach and a team built for excellence, they are aggressively expanding and need a Head of Acquisitions to lead the charge.

This is a senior leadership role where you will build, manage, and scale a top-tier team of Acquisition Managers. You'll bring deep expertise to guide complex negotiations and ensure deals close flawlessly. Your leadership will be key to growing the business by fostering strong relationships and securing profitable land investments.

What You'll Actually Do
  • Lead and manage a team of Acquisitions Managers to meet and exceed ambitious targets.
  • Mentor and coach your team, creating an environment of continuous growth and collaboration.
  • Ensure accountability within your team and high adherence to all processes.
  • Drive complex negotiations and oversee all contract execution.
  • Manage the full acquisition process, from initial contact to final deal closure.
  • Review and approve all contract terms before signing.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the entire acquisition process.
  • Increase efficiency and maximize conversion rates across the team.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations to streamline the overall land acquisition workflow.
  • Monitor team performance and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on acquisition performance and strategy.
  • Analyze data and feedback to make informed decisions and adjust strategies quickly.
What We Are Looking For

You are a results-oriented leader with a strong background in acquisitions and team management.

  • 5+ years of experience in acquisitions, real estate, or a similar field, with a proven history of success.
  • Experience managing and leading a team, with a clear focus on performance.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a strong grasp of the land acquisition process.
  • Top-tier communication and interpersonal skills to represent the client to high-level partners.
  • Ability to lead calmly and effectively under pressure.
  • A strategic thinker who can quickly optimize processes and improve team output.
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to adapt plans as needed
