Active Directory Engineer
to join our team in Argentina.

About the role:
As an Active Directory Engineer, you'll become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experience of tomorrow.
The Client will be contracting an Active Directory Engineering contractor for six months to assist with the ability to extend based on business needs. The objective is to design, implement, and optimize a secure, scalable, and highly available identity and access management infrastructure. This infrastructure will serve as the foundation for centralized authentication, authorization, and resource access control across the organization's IT environment.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures secure and streamlined identity lifecycle management
- Enables efficient delegation of administrative tasks
- Supports integration with cloud services and applications
- Implements best practices for operational reliability and security
Requirements:
- Technical:
Deep knowledge of Windows Server , PowerShell automation, AD CS, and GPMC. Solid understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and IAM frameworks - Hybrid Identity:
Proven experience with Azure AD (Entra ID), ADFS, and hybrid environments - Infrastructure:
Manage physical/virtual Domain Controllers, site connectivity, and security (firewalls/EPP) - Disaster Recovery:
Implement backup/recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam) - 4.1 Organizational:
* Engage stakeholders to define requirements and approve milestones - Design scalable OU structures based on business and geographic needs
- Partner with HR/Security for provisioning and access control policies
- Deliver admin training and create end-user documentation
- Manage change control, patching, and infrastructure maintenance
- Compliance & Security:
- Align AD with data laws (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX)
- Secure privileged accounts and encrypt passwords
- Set audit policies and integrate logs with SIEM
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans
- Project Management:
- Track detailed timelines from design to go-live
- Maintain weekly status reporting and clear escalation paths to resolve roadblocks
