Description 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role focuses on data collection, cleaning, processing, and analysis, as well as the development of reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights. You will collaborate closely with Data, Product, and Business teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and usability.

Responsibilities

  • Collect data from multiple sources, including databases, APIs, flat files, and web scraping.

  • Ensure data traceability and proper documentation of sources and methodologies.

  • Clean, preprocess, and validate datasets by handling missing values, duplicates, and outliers.

  • Standardize data formats and ensure high data quality standards.

  • Prepare datasets ready for analysis, reporting, or modeling.

  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

  • Support the creation of descriptive analyses, reports, and dashboards for stakeholders.

  • Assist Data Science teams by preparing data for machine learning models or advanced analytics.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into analytical outputs.

  • Maintain clear documentation of processes, assumptions, and data transformations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or a related field (completed or in progress).

  • Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction and querying.

  • Intermediate experience with Python or R (e.g., pandas, numpy, matplotlib/seaborn).

  • Hands-on experience with data cleaning, manipulation, and validation.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • High attention to detail and rigor in data handling.

  • Ability to organize, document, and manage multiple data tasks.

  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

  • Fluent English communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with web scraping techniques or API integrations.

  • Basic knowledge of machine learning concepts and workflows.

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools or BI platforms.

  • Experience working with large datasets or cloud-based data environments.
