What you will be doing

The QA Lead is responsible for leading and supporting the QA Engineering team, ensuring high-quality standards across all deliverables. This role combines people leadership, process improvement, and cross-team collaboration to drive consistent and reliable releases. The QA Lead promotes best practices, coaches QA Engineers to grow their skills, and acts as the primary point of contact for all quality-related matters.

As the QA Lead, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Be the main point of contact for the QAs, having a deep understanding of the testing methodology.
  • Work with the Team Leader focused on achieving the best and most consistent releases.
  • Work with the QA Experts team to make the initiatives a reality and support them in their tasks of identifying improvements.
  • Continually review assignments to ascertain compliance with standards, metrics, proper time, and quality.
  • Contribute to post-implementation reviews to help to demonstrate the success or otherwise of projects.
  • Perform administrative functions such as staffing, recruitment, backups, and absence control.
  • Monitor and coach team members providing advice and guidance on quality.
  • Must be the focal main point of contact for the QA team for all the escalations related to testing and Quality assurance.
  • Review testing strategies and check that all types of tests are covered.
  • Influence QA roles to improve their skills every day because quality starts with everyone
  • Being aside from the team... Your role has to enable communication and solutions to deliver the best releases.
Knowledge and skills you need to have
  • Bachelor's degree or associate's with vast experience in the Developmental Quality Assurance's field
  • Must have a cumulative total of four years or more of experience as a QA engineer and in QA leadership roles
  • Significant experience of working with Software Development teams and using QA tools and methodologies
  • Experience with automated testing tools.
  • Flexible to work with departments in different time-zones.
  • Upper intermediate level of English and Spanish.

  • ISTQB Certification
