Our client is looking for a Financial Controlling and Processes to join their team in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The professional main responsibilities will be: 
  • Manage month-end accounting regional activities, which includes the coordination of the country's financial information, reviewing month-end analysis & controls (accounting, tax, treasury and credit collections).
  • Collaborate with shared service centers to ensure accuracy of posting entries and monitor its performance and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Work closely with the Country controllers. Conduct a detailed Balance Sheet reviews, ensuring completeness of account reconciliation, follow up open items and identification of areas of risks. Provide corporate controlling with a reasonable explanation of the most significant variances quarter to quarter.
  • A/R monitoring: work with local teams to understand, monitor and follow up on the collection process, DSO and aging analysis and compliance with corporate guidance. Participate in the credit evaluation process and monitor key situations; approve the according process and established DoA.
  • Cashflow: work closely with countries on the managing LOCs funding through forecast cashflow and work in alignment with the corporate treasury.
  • Ensure compliance processes and deadlines of all corporate and statutory/legal requirements.
  • SOX certification: provide and coordinate the process within LOCs and Region.
Education, Experience and Skills Required
  • Degree in Accounting. 
  • Proven experience with ERP system, preferably SAP. Hyperion Financial Manager (HFM) and Blackline experience are preferred.
  • Bilingual English-Spanish.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRs and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements.
  • Business Performance Management.
  • Financial Analysis and Decision Support.
  • Excellent communication skills, hands-on orientation and acquaintance with international multicultural environments.
  • Ability to solve problems and think creatively - capacity to provide pragmatic solutions and have the drive and leadership to implement ideas through to successful conclusion.
