Where and how you can work
Alongside our global campuses, we also collaborate with talented contractors and freelancers from all over the world to help us achieve our crazy big goals. While we support flexible, remote-friendly ways of working, for this role we're focusing on Buenos Aires, Argentina, so we can best support our teams and keep collaboration flowing.
This role is a 12-month engagement, working full-time hours.
What you'd be doing in this role
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
• Leading and executing a bespoke SEO strategy tailored to Argentina's unique market, language, and user behaviour
• Defining and owning the end-to-end SEO roadmap across content, technical, and authority-building pillars
• Partnering closely with the Argentina Country Manager and International SEO Strategist to scale impact
• Hiring and developing a high-performing local SEO team as market needs grow
• Using data to uncover insights, prioritise opportunities, and measure outcomes
• Contributing to Canva's global SEO engine with market learnings, frameworks, and AI search discoveries

• You've led SEO strategies end-to-end – you've run SEO programs across content, technical, and authority-building pillars, ideally on large sites with measurable outcomes.
• You're deeply connected to Argentina's online landscape – you understand how users search, what content resonates, and how to build strategies that work locally.
• You're data-driven and commercially minded – you know how to translate insights into action and focus your efforts on what drives real business impact.
• You collaborate naturally across cultures and time zones – you've worked with global teams before and know how to build strong relationships, even remotely.
• You're excited about the future of search – you're already exploring how AI and new discovery platforms are changing the game and want to be part of what comes next.
About the team
You'll be joining a team focused on helping Canva grow around the world by making it easy for people to discover us in their own language and context.
We believe that truly local strategies — not just translations — unlock the best results.
You'll collaborate with SEO experts, content creators, analysts, and marketers across different countries to drive meaningful impact in your region and contribute to global growth.
