Media Asset Management team provides logistical support for digital and physical asset and the organization of our asset repositories. You will be responsible for asset internal and external asset transfers as well as maintaining a well-organized asset library.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with media localization production assets like scripts, subtitles, videos, audio and graphic files.
  • Facilitate the uploading and downloading of digital assets
  • Facilitate the shipping and receiving of physical assets
  • Assign appropriate taxonomy and metadata to assets
  • Maintain Transperfect's file naming conventions and folder structure protocols
  • Maintain Transperfect's Media Asset Management system and Media Library
  • Educate, train and promote the use of the digital asset management system
  • Escalate and resolve any technical issues with the Engineering department
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including, suggesting improvements to workflow and testing new solutions
  • Adhere to full-time schedule and occasionally work overtime when needed
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • One year experience with a Digital Asset Management system (preferred),
  • Highly developed Windows skills, including a strong background and understanding of PC systems, Windows directory structures, asset management and organization.
  • Experience with Microsoft products, expert in excel and xml preferred
  • Knowledge of digital file formats
  • General understanding of the digital file transport systems
  • Must possess excellent verbal skills, including in-person and telephone, as well as written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required, with the ability to build credibility and collaborate with associates at all levels
  • Customer service experience essential, with the ability to manage priorities against tight deadlines
  • Must be self-motivated, organized and self-managed
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
